About the event
Fly Your Flag is a 12-week program held every Monday for LGBTQIA+ middle and high school youth. Through the four pillars of Heart, Mind, Life, and Community, participants build confidence, strengthen mental well-being, develop life skills, and create meaningful connections in a welcoming and supportive environment.
This week's session, Mental Health Awareness, helps participants better understand mental health and the importance of breaking stigma. Through interactive activities, group discussion, and learning about available resources, youth will explore common myths and facts about mental health while gaining confidence in knowing when and how to ask for help.
This Week's Key Takeaway
Mental health is health. Help is here, and it's okay to ask for it.
