Perinatal Support Services

About Our Perinatal Support Services
NAMI’s Perinatal Support Services are designed to meet the critical mental health and wellbeing needs of mothers during pregnancy and postpartum.
With allocated funding, the program offers comprehensive support including navigation to mental health services, assistance with childcare, housing support, and transportation.
NAMI services aim to reduce barriers to care and promote stability for families. In addition, NAMI hosts a peer-led perinatal support group, Rooted in Motherhood, that provide a safe, welcoming space for mothers to connect, share experiences, and receive encouragement during this transformative period.

Rooted in Motherhood.
Rooted in Support.
Rooted in You.
Whether you’re expecting, newly postpartum, or somewhere in between, we’re so glad you’re here. Our Perinatal Support Group is a space created just for you—a place of connection, comfort, and care during this powerful season of life.
We’re excited to introduce you to our new support group: Rooted in Motherhood. This group is here to remind you that it’s okay to be deeply rooted in your role as a mother and in caring for your mental health. You deserve support, understanding, and space to grow—and you are not alone.
Rooted in Motherhood offers a warm, judgment-free space to connect, share, and receive the resources you need. Our Care Navigator, Megan, is here to walk alongside you—whether you need emotional support, help finding services like childcare or transportation, or just someone to talk to.
