What is the Traumatic Loss Response Team?

The Traumatic Loss Response Team (TLRT) brings together professionals and community members to support people affected by traumatic events and sudden loss, with a special focus on loss to suicide. The team includes people with backgrounds in healthcare, mental health, crisis intervention, and peer support, alongside community partners and individuals with lived experience.

How TLRT Provides Support

The team aims to connect with individuals and families in Richland County as early as possible after a traumatic loss. Team members offer compassionate support, help identify individual needs, and connect survivors with grief support, mental health services, and other community resources.
