About the event

Fly Your Flag is a 12-week program held every Monday for LGBTQIA+ middle and high school youth. Through the four pillars of Heart, Mind, Life, and Community, participants build confidence, strengthen mental well-being, develop life skills, and create meaningful connections in a welcoming and supportive environment.

This week's session, Understanding Emotions, helps participants recognize, identify, and name the emotions they experience every day. Through interactive activities and meaningful conversations, youth will explore the importance of every emotion, build emotional awareness, and practice healthy ways to express their feelings.

This Week's Key Takeaway

All emotions are valid and manageable.
