NAMI Ending the Silence

About the Presentation

NAMI Ending the Silence is a free, 50 minute mental health presentation that any middle or high school in Richland County can request.

The presentation is free, evidence-based, and will encourage students to take care of themselves and each other. The program also focuses on warning signs for mental illness, the importance of good mental health and suicide prevention as well as practical ways peers can help peers.

The program provides real faces and real-life stories that help students learn more effectively.  Audience members can ask questions and gain understanding of an often-misunderstood topic. Through dialogue, we can help grow the movement to end stigma
