NAMI Richland County is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Program Assistant to focus on the growth and expansion of the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Program and Parent Advocacy Support Services (PASS). This role will be essential to supporting the Executive Director in managing the logistics of the CIT program, meeting with local law enforcement to help compile policies and procedures relating to mental health incidents and supporting day-long trainings for first responders. Additionally, this role is crucial in maintaining the seamless operation of the PASS program, an essential position that provides education, support and advocacy to parents and guardians of youth 21 years and younger.


This position involves passing necessary clearances, including a background check, holding a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and lived experience with mental health. This position offers flexibility, a positive work culture and a supportive learning environment.
